The 'B' Girls are New York City's most prominent girl band of the 70's/80's rock'n'roll/punk scene. They toured with The Clash, shared bills with Blondie, The Dead Boys, The Ramones, Elvis Costello, The Heartbreakers, Mink Deville, The Runaways and more from 1977- 1982. They only released one 45 on Bomp Records in 1978 'Fun at the Beach' backed with 'B Side'.

 

Their influences are girl groups of the 60's like The Shangri-Las, The Crystals and The Ronettes meets The New York Dolls, The Ramones, The Heartbreakers. In other words, Girl Groups, Power Pop, Punk, Garage and Glam. 

 

The 'B' Girls are back on Bomp with their first full length Pink Vinyl LP out August 2017 and their 40th Anniversary Tour underway!
