The Indie cafe with Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club.

Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz are founding members of both Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club. They met each other at the Rhode Island School Of Design where studied painting. After graduating, they moved to New York City where they founded Talking Heads with David Byrne in 1974. Their first performance together was at CBGB in 1975 opening for the Ramones. After making many records and tours and the film Stop Making Sense, Talking Heads was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2002.

Tom Tom Club recorded their first eponymous album in 1981 during a lull in Talking Heads activity and it yielded the dance floor classics "Wordy Rappinghood" and "Genius Of Love."
Chris and Tina have continued to tour and make records  as Tom Tom Club. The latest ep is called "Downtown Rockers." In fact, they are working on a new EP right now. They also have a new electronic project in the works called simply Chris and Tina.
