The first ever concert in benefit of the Hauppauge-based non-profit Angela’s House will be held on June 3rd. The event, entitled “Rock the House,” will be held at Middle Country Beer Garden at 1702 Middle Country Road in Centereach. The main event will run from 1:00 pm thru 8:00 but the house will rock to 11pm. There will be rolling admissions; come for a little while to see your favorite band or come spend the day with us. Tickets are $20 with kids getting in free.

The night is being sponsored by Long Island’s growing #1 Internet radio station, iradiouse.com. Producer and DJ, Vincent Cashin, will be hosting the event. Cashin has a personal relationship with the non-profit, as the foundation assisted him and his family with their son Zachary. Cashin’s son unfortunately passed away in August 2009 at the age of 12.  “Since I got into Internet radio and started meeting local talent, I started thinking. And I saw what Bob was doing with Angela’s House and I thought ‘let me give something back,’” stated Cashin.

The bands that will be rocking out through the night include Bottoms Up, Joe Bayer Band, Big Hair Daze, Youth Be Told, I Ignite, Electric Mayhem, and 50 miles 2 frequency.

WRCN will also take part with Bill Powers and other guest DJ’s to appear. WRCN has taken part and hosted events in the past for Angela’s house.

Attendees will be served food and take part in raffles and Chinese auctions throughout the night. Kids will be able to enjoy a bounce house and slide.

“Rock the House” will be streamed on http://iradiousa.com

Tickets may be brought online at Angelashouse.org, as well as donations. For more information, please call Blu Chip Marketing at 631-337-1603.
