Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have changed. We think you'll like them better this way.
Join us on Monday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. when our guest on Record Talk Radio will be Bergen County Freeholder Robert Hermansen of Mahwah, who is running for reelection to a second term this fall.
Hermansen last year led the effort to adopt a pay-to-play ordinance which restricts campaign contributions by people who do business with the county government.
He is running with fellow Republican and former River Edge Mayor Margaret “Peg” Watkins against Democrats Steve Tanelli, a North Arlington councilman and Tracy Silna Zur, a former municipal judge.
This is the third in a series of interviews with the freeholder candidates.
We'll talk about such county topics as pay-to-play, the proposed American Dream mall in the Meadowlands and the issue of county law enforcement consolidation.
