Retired psychiatric social worker, Patricia Easley, has been writing children's stories since her sons were small, but once her granddaughter Brissa was born, she was inspired to publish. Easley's books touch the reader (regardless of age!) and acknowledges many issues facing our society today:  color of skin, families, self-esteem, Earth Day and more! You'll learn about her latest book written for the adorable ambassador for the Freedom Heritage Museum, "The Mighty Mascot Miss Odee." The author resides in Evansville, Indiana on a small lake (big pond) and loves watching heron and all the wonderful wildlife that call this home.
