16 and Pregnant

MTV's "16 and Pregnant" is a new reality show that captures the continued spreading epidemic of teenage pregnancy. According to The National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, 34 percent of young women become pregnant at least once before they reach the age of 20—and 79 percent of these are unmarried teens. In addition 3 in 10 girls in the U.S. will get pregnant at least once by age 20 and not mention 1 in 6 girls in the U.S. will be a teen mom. These statistics unfortunately, do not exempt Christian teenage girls.
