There are many "demons" people will face in their lifetimes.  One of them shouldn't have to be drug addiction.  Despite the supposed "WAR ON DRUGS", heroin has become a widespread epidemic here in the U.S. and continues to get worse by the day.

Joining me today is Frank Karaglanis, who recently lost his son to heroin.  His son Brian Michael Karaglanis was only 29 when his life was finally consumed.  Now some would say that drug users deserve their lot in life and I'm sure that's easier to say when we're not in another's shoes.  Mr. Karaglanis is here to touch upon the ongoing issues heroin is causing in our communities, to speak out about the injustice and ignoring of authority figures of these plights, and to put a face to the nameless who have went thru such tragedies.  His son, like others- were'nt nobody's, in fact they were somebody's- like we all are, who chose the wrong path yet were and are still deserving of help.

Frank is also the Founder of noNeg101 & the Creator of NIX- The Positive Messenger.  So despite us talking about the hard stuff we are also here to share the positive out of the negative.  To bring light to that which is dark and hopefully inspire more discussion on these very real issues that in turn will encourage action and real solutions.

Last but not least, Frank has started a benefit in his son's name called "Brian's War"; to help others in need.  To learn more, help, or donate- you can reach him on LinkedIn, Facebook, or email at:
