Joining me is Kitty Sutton, Author of Native American Historical Fiction Mysteries, "The Trail of Tears Series".  Not only is she here to talk about her novels, why she was so passionate on writing them, and the infamous real-life Dog Star "Wheezer"; Kitty is also here to speak up on why it is so important to understand and protect one's heritage along with highlighting what's going on in regards to new laws that affect many Native Americans and how they are being recognized or not.  This is a serious issue for not only her but for many of Native American descent (whether registered or not) who have lost their rights to be acknowledged for various reasons.
