How do some people get so good so fast?

You can become an elite skill developer. It requires focused attention and disciplined action to follow the “Four T’s” of faster skill building.

Talent: what you’re born with and do naturally well. It helps to start in a direction aligned with your strengths.

Teaching: what you study and who you listen to. Learn from people who came before you or who can accurately observe you.

Training: how you practice and how often. Treat everything as training for something.

Time: how you use each moment and allow add them up. Combine the urgency required for today’s effort with the patience required for skill to develop.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
