Getting to know Motivational Coaches Carol Mackey and MarQue Munday

Carol Hill Mackey has been instrumental in getting authors of color in front of readers!

Carol Hill Mackey is the former  editor-in-chief of Black Expressions Book Club,author and motivator speaker.   She was named among the "50 Most Powerful African Americans in Publishing" by Black Issues Book Review, Carol's career has included work at Newsday, as well as for The New York Times and Essence Communications. Carol has appeared on the CBS-TV Morning Show and is frequently interviewed by Publishers Weekly on the state of African American publishing.

MarQue is a native of Staten Island, NY and has performed professionally as well as internationally as a Worship Facilitator/Singer/Dancer/Actress/ & Model. Performing professionally for the past 25 years.  MarQue earned a Bachelors Degree in Musical Theatre from The United States International University in San Diego, CA. Her credits include: Live performances, Studio Sessions, CDs, Commercials(National, International & Regional), Film, Television(National & International), Cable, Radio, Print, Runway, Conventions, Piano Bar, Wedding Bands, Theatre (Regional & Off-Broadway), National & International Tours.
Her heart is focused on woman & children ministries and the development of a womans first love relationship being with God.  The release of her debut Contemporary Christian CD, "Partner in Life," walks you through the process of focusing first on God and then keeping that focus while navigating daily life. MarQue has a series of Pilates exercise DVD's featured in Pilates Style magazine.  She recently shared her "Christinexercise" program at Worship, Inc Christian dance conference, Aug 2011. P
