Linda Jansen Original Lead Singer The Angels Hit "Til"

 In 1961, a trio of girls called "THE ANGELS" were born, with LINDA JANSEN as lead singer along with sisters Barbara & Jiggs Allbut

singing back-up. Their first hit recording entitled 'TIL on the CAPRICE record label was followed by CRY BABY CRY, & an album entitled AND THE ANGELS SING.  Linda left the group to persue a solo career under the dirction of Gerry Granahan (owner of Caprice records)and recorded under several different names on  the CANADIAN AMERICAN & EPIC labels.
