<>Southern Africa: A Vital Christianity

Just back in the door from Southern Africa! While I was in Zimbabwe I saw a stunning stone sculpture that nearly brought me to tears. It was titled: Eye Witness. Why tears? Because, thousands in Zimbabwe have been the eyewitnesses to the plunge of their nation into social and economic chaos. It caused me to think: When my grandsons and great-grandsons—if I should live that long—as me how our once great nation plunged into disintegration and chaos what will I tell them? How will I explain that I watched as our heritage as a Christian nation was squandered?

Our nation needs a revival—it needs a return to a moral and spiritual foundation. While walking through Harare this week with an attractive young lady I was posed this question: “Why do Americans write the best books on prayer and do the least of it?” This week on Second Half Christians internet Christian radio show Margaret and I will be talking about what we as “Second Halfers” can do. The show streams live each Sunday at 7:00 PM (MOUNTAIN TIME) on http://www.blogtalkradio.com/gregory-fisher. You are invited to join us for what could prove to be a lively discussion and a serious challenge to your lifestyle

This innovative internet Christian radio talk show is not about Greg and Margaret Fisher. We already are over our heads in ministry. It is about you, and helping you to make a difference with your life. You are invited to call into the live show at (646)929-2432 to join into the discussion. We have five telephone lines incoming to the show—plus more can be added if needed. If you log into the show before 7:00 PM you will be added to our Second Half Christians chat room, and you will be immediately connected to the audio stream at 7:00 PM (MOUNTAIN) when the show starts. Chat room participants can also comment on the show and communicate with other listeners as well using the chat feature.
