Mass Incarceration, lack of education, poor health, dilapidated communities, lack of jobs, drug & alcohol abuse, and poverty. Do some American's fail due to systemic racism or are their failures simply a result of poor personal choices?

Join host Scott Speed and regular guest contributors John Costino (CEO Mony Wize) and Montoya Smith (The Mental Dialogue Community) as they dialogue about the widely debated topic of whether personal choice outweighs systemic forces.

Many American's believe that the opportunity for success in this country is equal for all and that it is up to each individual to seize those opportunities. If they don't, it is their fault due to their own personal choices. While others believe that there are systemic hurdles that impede some individuals chances at those very same opportunities. These people believe that ethnic minorities, especially African Americans, continue to suffer at disproportionate rates due to these various systemic forces.
