Ann Bernard is the Master of First Times, a serial entrepreneur, story teller, adventurer and world traveler. Ann grew up learning very early-on she was on her own and needed to take care of herself. She was a closed-off and independent kid who didn’t follow the crowd. A perfectionist who couldn’t handle criticism or express herself. She had an impactul incident that taught her to face all her fears and another one that saved her life because the gun was on safe. Joining the Marine Corps, at 17 made her tough, and her drive, ambitions, and discipline helped thrive and succeed. She left active duty proud of her accomplishments, but also a hard ass with an ego. She entered the entrepreneurial game, where she got torn to pieces. Failures after failures - she recovered by doing what she knew from childhood and as a Marine. She kept persevering and fighting the good fight - while burying how she felt and not telling anyone what she was going through. A darkness began overtaking her, and the anger and rage, were getting tougher to hide and manage. She often placed herself on house arrest because she couldn't trust herself. She finally broke. She chose to get down on her knee and hand her life over to God. That's when an incredible journey began for her - she found herself doing so many things she's never done before She had always known there had to be another way to change and grow other then constantly having to go through pain, struggles, and hardships. She hated hearing "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" especially since she constantly thought about suicide and had tried to kill herself as kid. Seven years into her journey of first times and new experiences - she's offering people her breaking point, and an invitation to start their own journey of first times and new experiences, so they can discover all that life has to offer, and like her, change their relationship with life.
