Domestic Violence "What Is Really Going On?"

In the last few days we have heard of children being abused and killed by violence, teens running the streets to intentionally "knock out" random strangers, father killing his child and posting on FACEBOOK before he shoots his daughter in the head, and murder/suicide in Midtown Atlanta.

What is really going on?  Are we as human beings going to speak UP/OUT about this senseless VIOLENCE...because someone changes their mind and acknowledge that they deserve to be treated better?  Why is violence associated with the word "LOVE" which does not have one description associated to violence?
