Andrea Carlisle was born in Birmingham Alabama and began singing in the church choir at age 5. Throughout her schooling years she sang in several choirs, and ensembles. Her passion for gospel music was inspired by Mahalia Jackson, The Barrett Sisters, James Cleveland, to name a few.
Singer / Songwriter, Andrea Carlisle posted her song LORD HELP MY UNBELIEF on Social Media and received an overwhelming response. When the song was heard by Playwright, Vivian Willams Murray, she asked to use the song in her 2015 stage play : BEHIND THE PULPIT 2
This year, Andrea recorded the song with Producer Jonathan Quake Henderson and on August 22, 2016, she released her very first EP "LORD HELP MY UNBELIEF"
Andrea is an Artist of Today, calling her style NEO-GOSPEL because of the blend of genres that have inspired her. Her mission is to continue to inspire and empower God's people through her music.
Her motto is to never try to meet man's expectations of you, but instead, MEET GOD'S EXPECTATIONS.
