George Plumley is no stranger to change, having worked in web development for over 15 years. But even he was surprised at getting his first book deal in just four days after logging on to Twitter for the first time. At age 50, George loves the challenge of starting this new career as an author - in fact he's just signed the deal for his second book. "You often hear people say they wish they were 20 again. I think the key is to keep what was good about your twenty-something outlook, combine it with your other 30 years of experience, and create an even more exciting life for yourself." A big believer in embracing change, George feels more comfortable with change now than he did when he was younger, because he knows himself better, knows what he wants, and has the years of experience to know how to use that change. "And one thing experience has taught me is how to balance my life better to get more enjoyment out of all aspects of it. When I was young, I focused too much on my work. Now I'm getting more out of my work because I focus more on family and other interests and everything has a place in my life."
