Today's Special Guest, Robert Two Crow is a Lakota Educator and Director of Lakota Studies for Shannon County School District and associated with OSEC (Oceti Sakowin Education Consortium) in developing Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota Language Content Standards and Assessment for oral proficiency.
This is the first time standards and assessments were written on the Dakota, Nakota, Lakota Language by the Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota people. The purpose is to enhance speaking of the Language because the number of speakers is declining at a rapid rate.
