Cultivating An Appetite For Christ

At some point and time you've heard of the Rolling Stones hit song "I can't get no Satisfaction". And the truth of the matter is that outside of Christ there is no satisfaction, peace or contentment. Why is it that our hearts and minds tend to stray and forget the fulfilling blessings of God so easily. On occasion I find myself asking why do I turn my focus away from Christ and to the things of this world? Its a false assumption to think that money, sex, lust or materialism can bring us the true joy we seek. Just imagine yourself for a minute filling your Soul with these things vs Christ. If we fill ourselves with garbage we will walk away with a horrible taste in our mouths and be left unfulfilled....but if we constantly become filled with Christ, we will have great joy and never go away hungry or thirsty.
