Mohawk, Shenandoah Previews! Plus Barnsdale, Prewitt, Gagne and more!

Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by BetAmerica is proud to announce their line-up for their show coming up on Thursday (Sept. 14) morning at 10 a.m.

Greg Trotto from the Virginia Equine Alliance will join the program to talk about the upcoming meet at Shenandoah Downs. Shenandoah kicks off their 2017 live racing meet with the Hops 'n Hooves Craft Beer & Chili Festival on Sept. 16. The day features Virginia Breeders' Championship Races for 2-year-olds, with the four championship races equaling $160,000 in purses.

Mohawk Racetrack in Ontario has an action packed, stakes laden program coming up on Saturday night featuring the finals of the Elegantimage, Canadian Trotting Classic, The Milton, and the Maple Leaf Trot. Daily Racing Form contributor Garnet Barnsdale will join the show to talk about each of the races and how they set up in his mind from a handicapping perspective. The duo will discuss promotions and the races with WEG's own Mark McKelvie.

Gabe Prewitt will join the program this week to highlight the 2017 Kentucky Sire Stakes Finals coming up at The Red Mile on Sunday night. Prewitt will talk about the who's who in the Sire Stakes finals and discuss the contenders from each division.

The on-going series with Darin Gagne continues this week as we persist in highlighting the happenings at Running Aces. Gagne will provide insight and analysis from the Minnesota five-eighths mile oval.
