Dawn McClain has an extensive background as a minister of music, has performed as lead vocalist for several bands, i.e. Sol Factor and Rock Steady. She has performed alongside of or sang background vocals for artist such as Kem, Dwele, Kindred FamilySoul, BobbyBrown, Jean Carne, Ann Nesby, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Crystal Aikin (The winner of the first season of Sunday’s Best), Algebra, Anthony David, Tony Terry, Mint Condition, K-Ci & Jo-Jo, Stevie Wonder, N' Dambi Blu, Liv Warfield, Lela James, Erykah Badu, Donnie, Frank Mcomb, Gordon Chambers and Johnny Gill.

She has performed at many of Atlanta's premiere events and venues such as Hard Rock Cafe, Center Stage, The Vinyl, Sugarhill, Centennial Olympic Park, Londzell’s, Footprints Café ATL, Shout, 595 North, Kat’s Café, Sambuca and the historically popular Apache Cafe, formally Ying Yang. She also performed in the stage play by Tawanda Kilpatrick “Mama I’m Your Child”.

Dawn has established an International presence by performing and receiving radio airplay and overseas releases in Malaysia, Germany, Africa, Switzerland, London, New Zealand and Japan.
