Johnathan of the Meskwaki Cultural Center & Museum.  He runs the historic preservation department for the Sac & Fox tribe of the Mississippi.

The Meskwaki are not well known in popular culture, but they have been well documented in academic circles.  This tribe, almost single-handedly brought down "New France".  They rejected attempts towards being Christianized (including an attempt by Dr Charles Eastman to convert them in 1897) and going to boarding schools.  They rejected the "no dancing letter" of 2-24-1923 which attempted to suspend Pow Wows, by hosting a big Pow Wow event that attracted 3000 Iowans a day.  Very amazing history!  Ask Johnathan to talk about this.  Thanks!
