On March 14, 2015, a panel LGBTQ friendly congregation leaders gathered for another LGBTQ Spiritual Summit to discuss issues of faith, beliefs, criticisms, questions, and community in an effort to "bring our spirituality out of the closet" and connect with each other. Nicholas Snow brings the entire panel discussion to his audience!
Organizers ask, "What was your experience with religion, Spirit, The Universe, or God, when you were growing up?" We as an LGBTQ population now have more rights as citizens in this country than ever before, but how does that affect our connection with each other? How have our new civil rights (be they incomplete) changed our faith, and our ability to access communities of similar faiths?" The key message: Find a spiritual practice that works for you!
