Electronics have been a way of life for quite a while and will continue to be with increasing frequency and use. The problem is that you have the electronics you currently use as well as the ones you no longer use but haven't deleted. You also have the "complete" electronic in which you have the device, cords, directions, etc. Then there are device parts: cords for which you don't know the device, disks that your current computer can't read, incomplete devices, etc.

Mix all of this together with "the voices" that say things like:

  • "I might need that someday"
  • "it might have something important on it"
  • "as soon as I delete it, I will need it"
  • "somebody can use it"
  • "I want to recycle it but don't know where"

Whew! It's no wonder we have so much electronic clutter!

In this episode, Master Organizer, Janice Russell shares strategies to get your electronics organized now as well as how to maintain that organization going forward as you accumulate more electronics in the future. She also gives tips for how to handle "electronic discord," when different family members have different ideas on how to handle device parts that are no longer in use.

Listen to learn how to rid yourself of electronic clutter once and for all.
