Surveyors Roundtable: Boat moving and hauling

Our surveyors join Dean Pike (Husson College) to discuss boat moving and hauling. Dean is starting to work with ProBoat E-Training to develop a straddle-lift course, and our surveyors have a vested interest in how quickly and efficiently yards can move boats. Pat Kearns told us earlier, "The straddle lift situation is one that hits me too often as I am considered a royal pain by lift operators in that I request that a boat be, at least, keel blocked when left in the lift slings for a short haul for survey."
