TUESDAY AUGUST 24, 2010 Workforce Development For this show, we'll focus on a number of the issues being tracked by members and supporters of the Marine Industry Training & Education Council (MITEC) . What is the state of our available workforce? How will we find, recruit, and retain new workers as the economy starts to grow again? What changes can we expect to see in our workforce? And how can we as an industry, and as individual schools and companies, find the funding we need to train our workers in the skill sets they will need to become boat builders, repairers, and technicians.
