The crisis in Puerto Rico is of a proportion few have seen, and the Diaspora has been busy working to help our brothers and sisters in  devastated Puerto Rico. Nevertheless, our help could never be enough so the Federal Government, which for over a century has ruled over the Colony of Puerto Rico has in been slow to answer the call. Carmen Yulin, Mayor of our Capitol San Juan, went o live TV and said that Puerto Ricans were dying and went as far as begging Donald Trump for help. Instead of understanding her frustration, he attacked her and even commented that "Puerto Rico wants everything done for them" This made many people furious and many defended the Mayor saying that if the President could assist Texas and Florida after hurricanes that were mild in comparison to Maria, Puerto Rico should have gotten an even bigger response.

Join us as we discuss the crisis and inform our readers on ways we can all help our families and friends in the Island.
