NFL Draft Player Spotlight: Patrick Greene, Utah

Some people are born to be a long snapper. Meet Patrick Greene of Utah, who began long snapping in sixth grade at the pee wee football level. Greene easily learned the snapping motion, which led him to a career with the Utes. He has logged over 500 snaps during his four-year career and recovered a fumble, then got to snap the game-winning field goal at Washington State during his junior season. A former baseball player who helped his high school team win a state title in 2006, Greene has placed himself on the NFL radar as one of the premier long snapper prospects in the nation.
