A show dedicated to "True Life Experiences."

Wicked Wednesday in TheBasement with Host Jazz' Jai and Grammy Award Winning Recording Engineer & Pioneer Carl Glover, discuss the music industry and reflect on the life & legacy of artist Prince.

Carl, "has worked with a vast array of the industry’s most prominent celebrities. In the late 1980’s, while still earning his Sound Engineer and Artist Management degree from  AIA in Atlanta, Carl landed a internship and 2nd engineering position with R& B Legend Curtis Mayfield and Curtom Records. To this day he credits Curtis Mayfield for his 1st break into the music industry.

After honing the skills of his trade and gaining rapid credibility, Carl landed an opportunity to work with music mogul, Dallas Austin, (Super Producer and owner of D.A.R.P Studios).  In the early 1990’s Carl balanced two roles critical to Austin’s widely popular camp as "Assistant Studio Manager," and "Recording Engineer" to later serving as Dallas’ personal "Tracking Engineer." While as a assistant manager of a multi room, top grade recording studio, he also engineered, programmed, tracked, and recorded the music that assisted in Atlanta’s emergence as a Musical Mecca, eventually knocking New York off the scene.  In 1994, Carl Clover won his first Grammy for the recording of “Creep”, the hit song performed by the superstar group TLC. He engineered for Too Short at Dangerous Music/Jive Records - from 1997 to the early 2000's, as well as, Rico Wade of the world famous Dungeon Family.

Carl also had the opportunity to work at "Paisley Park" along side George Clinton on the albums "Paint the Whitehouse Black," and "Hollywood."
