Jesus is the Eternal High Priest

To intimately know Jesus Christ is to know Him. Hebrews chapter six affirms that Jesus became the high priest in the order of Melchizedek. In this week’s lesson, chapter seven, the author provides insight as to Melchizedek’s character and nature, historical facts regarding his existence, and his being the pre-figuration of Jesus Christ. The author concludes the chapter by affirming Jesus Christ preeminence over that of Melchizedek. Jesus is King of King and Lord of Lord!
