A lot of people like the idea of heaven but most of us have a problem with hell. After all, why would a good, loving God create a place like that? A place of everlasting torment. In fact, this whole idea of hell can, for some people, be a stumbling block to faith in Christ. To think that a God will commit someone to eternal torment seems like overkill, right?
It's one of those things about the God of the Bible that we just don't like. We'll happily accept His love, bask in His mercy and wrap ourselves in His arms. But things such as judgement, and punishment, yeah, no one wants to hear about or stomach that. We tend to shy away from it because, in our very limited understanding, surely God can give us a break. Hell must then be a metaphorical understanding of evil. Or, maybe Hell isn't hell but just a pit stop to annilhilation.
But I'm here to unequivocally say, Hell is real. Joining me tonight is my guest co-host and contributor, Christopher Weeks. Join in the conversation by calling in at 929-477-1965 and press 1 to be live on air. Or, click on the link here: http://tobtr.com/s/11552957.
