In early May, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) hosted its 15th annual Dare to Dream Gala, which helps raise funds to provide entrepreneurship education to over 900 youth from low-income communities in the metropolitan Washington, DC area and train high school teachers to deliver our specially tailored, practical business curriculum to students in their schools.

In addition, NFTE hands out a number of awards at the gala to outstanding student entrepreneurs.  Today, we are fortunate enough to spend time with two teachers whose student walked away with awards.

We have Stephanie Harmony who is a marketing teacher at Annadale High School – whose student was a second place winner – and Erin Cribbs, the Business Education Department Chair at Croom Vocational HS.  Erin had students who first and third-place awards.
