It's a new episode with midwest photographer, Dawn Shields, but Dawn is anything but a typical photographer.

She started out as a "soccer mom", but made it a point to be the very best photographer she could be. From children and family images, to weddings, to buying a Missouri wedding magazine, it seems like she's done it all.

She won WPPI's Album of the year competition just a few years ago with an album about her grandfatther who spent most of his life behind bars. With that one album she set a new standard for storytelling.
