Dr. Romila Verma, Assisstant Professor from Brock University, will be speaking with us about our most precious resource: Water.
Join us for a journey of many lands told through Dr. Verma's story of personal experience growing up in India, working with the Ladies of the Lake and Windfall Ecology to clean up Lake Simcoe, teaching in Universities and other international projects she's working on, all while balancing raising a family.
Her work is focused on watershed management and climate change, understanding our rural and uraben needs all while protecting the element which unites and sustains us: WATER.
