Veterans Business Resource Center (VBRC) serves veterans who are transitioning into civilian life along with Reserve and National Guard Members and their families in the St. Louis area. We use an innovative and integrated approach to business planning which substantially improves Veterans' chances for success with their own businesses. Weemphasize a Veteran-to-Veteran approach with the support of local business owners and entrepreneurs. This approach permeates all aspects of VBRC's services from training and consulting to advocacy, networking and mentoring.

VBRC offers structured entrepreneurial training courses; advocacy services ranging from intervention in issues of licenses and permits to negotiations with national corporations on behalf of Veteran business owners; individual counseling; mentoring; and networking services. The Center understands how important successful small business creation is to the health of our nation, its job-creation potential, and its tremendous economic impact. The Center helped 69 Veterans start businesses in 2010, creating 120 jobs.

Additionally, the Center serves hundreds of Veterans nationwide and overseas through our website in the areas of:  one-on-one counseling and business consultation; business seminars; business loan packaging and reviews; and specialized workshops and educational programs. VBRC uses a “Bootstrap Training Program” which is ideally suited for area Veteran entrepreneurs.
