Dr. Sy Islam is an Assistant Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Farmingdale State College as well as an organizational consultant through his consulting firm, Talent Metrics, LLC. Talent Metrics is a consulting firm specializing in the use of psychological principles in every aspect of the human resources function. Dr. Islam has over 10 years of experience in training and human resources. He is the Vice President of Membership for the Association for Talent Development Long Island Chapter. He completed his MBA in Human Resources Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his PhD in Applied Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.
