On March 16, 2011,Texas Rep. Harold Dutton said in a raised voice to
The Hitting Stops Here!, "I will never sign that bill!  That bill will
never pass as long as I'm around, because everyone will
listen to me!"  Rep. Dutton said this in the lobby of the
Texas State Capitol Bldg. and was referring to House Bill 916,
a bill that was to ban All Texas educators from striking the
buttocks of the children in their care with a wooden board
and exercising other forms of pain-based behavior management,
also known as "school corporal punishment."

Will Harold Dutton support HB 359, a bill that will provide
most  Texas schoolchildren with protective rights from
sanctioned and lawless abuse--most of whom are
disadvantaged and having special needs.  A bill that only
allows teachers to strike the children in their care if an
unenlightened parent or guardian gives them permission
to do so--for deemed misdeeds.

The Hitting Stops Here! has a duel message for Rep.
Dutton and the Texas House of Representatives.
