Ministry isn't a job... its a calling.  But people are still quick to tell you that you don't need to follow your calling.  You won't make any money, or you'll always be "unsettled" or that ministry is hard and stressful and a strain on relationships.  They also tell you minister's don't have any close friends.  And while some of those statements are true, there are many more positives to ministry then negatives.
