God makes all things new!

Thus says the Lord, your redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: I am the Lord, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; Isaiah 44:24 NKJV

God allowed His people to suffer the consequences of their actions. God judged His people. He disciplined and punished them. God even sent His people into exile. He did not stop loving them.

The Lord did not turn His back on them forever. He never gave up on them. God promised to heal them from the hardness of their hearts. God promised to restore them as the apple of His eye.
