Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4 NKJV

The Lord wants us to be filled with joy. Is that even possible? Does God want us to be happy on our journey through life? Is that possible?

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

I have always heard joy and happiness are not the same. We can chose joy regardless of circumstances. Happiness is subject to circumstances feelings and emotions.
