Ever since I can remember I have had an interest in the paranormal, the unexplained, mysteries and history’s of the world. Possibly originally inspired by my parents, who have brought me up to question things, research and investigate things. Even if they were unaware that they did! I guess it was only natural for me to one day try my hand at investigating the paranormal.

Another keen interest of mine has always been writing, something I have always wanted to be able to do. However, my life’s path took a different track and I ended up working with computers, which isn’t so bad. After all computers have probably given me a good edge in some cases. Always in the background remained my desire to write though and over the years I tried writing fiction, but without success. I guess it wasn’t really my kind of writing.

After many years of feeding my paranormal and writing interests off and on I finally found something that brought them together. My wife and I watched some episodes of Ghost Hunters and Paranormal State, then followed it by discussing our knowledge and experiences of the paranormal. This identified a local ‘haunted’ location known as Clophill Church. This little known ruin of an old church on a hill, soon became the focus for my first case. Which took form mainly as a research case written up in a little journal I had received for my birthday. Before I knew it I had found the paranormal and writing once again, but this time I was combining the two and it worked!

Not long after that I created my first Blog ‘The Farsight Files Blog’ where I wrote about paranormal things of interest to me. As my interest grew, I made more contacts and spoke to more people in the field gaining knowledge and advice as I went.
