His film work includes the original “Heavy Metal”, “Spider-Man 2 & 3?, and more recently “Captain America”, the "Avengers", and “The Walking Dead”. At the end of 2015, Rusty will be working on a new comic-book motion picture. In 1993, Rusty worked for card producer Clubhouse Diamonds and created the first ‘sketch cards’ in the trading card hobby and, to his surprise, it soon took off and became a world-wide phenomenon. In recent years, Gilligan rejoined the sketch card arena and has provided cards for Upper Deck, Breygent Marketing, Cryptozoic Entertainment, Cult-Stuf, and many others. As the publisher behind Rusty Ink!, he's released the popular funny animal comic "Mac and Trouble", "Mac and Trouble's Amazing Tails", as well as "Recollection Magazine", an exciting retro collectibles magazine. Recently, he's provided illustrations for a Dr Who card set and guide, sketch cards for the Upper Deck "Dinosaurs" set, a new Mac and Trouble cook book, and is about to work on a new film project license. Look for the 6 foot tall "Mac" who accompanies Rusty at his appearance, who gives away free photos and prizes! Don’t forget to stop by and grab one of Rusty's exclusive promo cards and show art prints!
