Listen to the Sat. May 9, 2020 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the role of the Zimbabwe government in addressing the needs of the people amid the COVID-19 pandemic; Kenya is taking action to control cross-border traffic aimed a limiting the number of COVID-19 cases inside this East African state; Egypt is reporting an escalation of infections along with efforts to contain the pandemic inside the country; and Sudan has passed the one thousand mark in active infections related to the pandemic. In the second and third hours we continue our detailed coverage of the impact of COVID-19 on the African continent and internationally.
