She has since has 18 books published, including Margaret Mahler, a Biography of the Psychoanalyst, which received the Best Books Finalist Award 2008 by USA Book News, and the Foreward Magazine Book of the Year Finalist Award for 2008, Camille Claudel, a Novel, Old Age is a Terminal Illness, Tales of Psychology, Who Killed Virginia Woolf? and The Autobiography of Maria Callas, a Novel, (runner-up in the First Novel Contest of Hemingway Days.) With Lucy Freeman as co-author, Alma also wrote Americaâ€TMs First Woman Warrior: The Courage of Deborah Sampson.
