J Young MDK is just getting started.In just the last few years, the talented singer, songwriter, actor, producer and entrepreneur from Atlanta has accomplished many amazing things, starting with winning a competitive freestyle radio contest as a teen.He also made musical history in 2020 by being the first artist to drop two full-length albums on the same day.J Young MDK also enjoys his role as a brand ambassador for the American Diabetes Association, a medical condition he deals with.That’s just the beginning of the project J Young MDK has been involved in – no wonder more and more people call him one of the hardest working entertainers today!These days, Jermaine Carter, who years ago decided to try on the nickname the Million Dollar Kid, has even more exciting things in the works.He has four albums that are all streaming: “Now or Never,” which received more than 100,000 streams in its first week, followed by“Black,” “White”and “Aqua.” A fifth recording, “Forever Young,” is in the works and is expected to drop later in 2022.In spring 2022, his newest single, “Slow Motion” reached No. 58 on the streaming charts in its first day.He spent the beginning of 2022 on a cross-country tour with fellow Atlanta rapper Latto on her 777 Monster Energy Outbreak Tour included several venues that sold out quickly, along with special appearances by other musicians at many of the stops.J Young MDK continues to collaborate with friend and mentor Jamie Foxx.  J Young MDK plays the same character in his 20s and his 40s, and is also a co-producer.
