Tonight we will discuss the aberrant nature of corporations and their obsession with profit at all costs, without regard to the dangers their actions pose to humans and the environment we inhabit. How did we get to the point where corporations control our governments, our major institutions, and almost every aspect of our lives? From the Boston Tea Party to the BP disaster in the Gulf, a few have been trying to warn us about corporate corruption, greed, and lack of concern for the planet. Now, with the Deep Water Horizon cataclysm, the bailout of the robber banks, and the never-ending oil wars threatening our very existence, maybe a few more will listen.
