As we journey through Lent to Holy Week.....as we individually reflect on our lives and the areas where we most need to feel God's closeness....as we struggle through our human feelings of loss, aloneness, fear, abandonment.....we wonder how we can possibly be understood and loved in all the mess.  Did Jesus feel this way?  What were the emotions that He felt when he cried out from the cross asking His Father why he had been abandoned.....where was that loving God at that moment?  Lori and Alice explore these questions in today's show using an article in America Magazine by Fr. James Martin, SJ.  We hope you will join us!
