Andrew Allport is the author of the body of space in the shape of the human, which won the 2011 New Issues Prize. He is also the author of a chapbook, The Ice Ship & Other Vessels. His poetry and essays have appeared in numerous publications, including Colorado Review, Boston Review, and Denver Quarterly. He lives in Culver City, California.
