Saying good bye is never easy....

Whether we are saying good -bye because we are breaking up with someone or we are leaving town....it is difficult to do. The words...good-bye evoke emotions that range from whistful to sadness. But good-bye always means new beginnings and that is what good-bye means for me today...new beginnings.

I am excited and whistful at the same time as I pack my truck up once again to start another trek. This leg of my journey will take me places I have never been before....I will not return until I stand on a mountain in Alaska...if that means I arrive there in the middle of the winter...so be it...I want to see the Aurora Bourealis...and I will!
