On May 1, 1986, Jacqueline Daniels and Rodney Williams gave birth to a star by the name of Demontay “Tay” Daniels.

The sixth grade is where he discovered his gift for music and rhythm (playing percussion for the William R. Davie Middle School Marching Band). Unfortunately, during his middle school years the street life began to grab a hold of Tay forcing him to transfer to 3 different schools within the same year. Finally he ended up at Enfield and luckily, this kept him in school and not out.

As a freshman at Northwest Halifax High School, Tay discovered his skill of rapping. His peers began to rave that he had a voice like no other. His natural ability with words caught the heart of the ladies and Tay later decided to take his dream to another level. He began to promote and sell out shows at the local skating rink in Roanoke Rapids. Tay, however, was a force to be reckoned with. While he continued to work with different regional record labels, he was destined to become one of North Carolina’s best musical artists. Although early on he was faced with so much adversity, Tay managed to graduate from high school with honors.

In May of 2010 Tay was discovered by Crush'em Records Untouchable Sounds where he has become a serious threat to other artists in the industry.  Tay is definitely one to watch.  The rest is history in the making.
